Following some heroic efforts by the Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation and donations totaling $36 million from numerous companies and individuals, it is now one of the premier and most highly regarded daily fee courses in the United States, having won the 2025 Jemsek National Golf Course of the Year Award. It has received numerous accolades from a multitude of national golf publications, social media, and television as a successful model for municipal golf course renewal through community investment.
Bobby Jones Links oversaw the construction of the new Bobby Jones Golf Course in 2018 and now manages it on behalf of the Foundation.
