Founded in 1915, Mount Vernon Country Club has established itself as one of Central Ohio’s premier private clubs, offering a century of tradition in golf, dining, fitness, and social experiences. The club keeps it intimate—fewer than 7,000 rounds are played annually, with busier days seeing just 50-60 players.
The 18-hole, par 72 championship course was originally designed by Thomas Bendelow and significantly updated in 1996 by Barry Serafin, enhancing both aesthetics and playability. Dining options include The Charter Room, The Sandtrap, and The Patios, featuring beautiful open-air spaces with panoramic views, fire pits, and live music options. Other amenities include a modern athletic center, aquatic facilities, and event spaces for weddings, corporate outings, and other private events.
