Bobby Jones Links has been selected to manage Eastpointe Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The partnership with the 36-hole club marks the company’s second property in Florida in 2021.
"The Eastpointe Board of Governors chose Bobby Jones Links after conducting an extensive search for the right partner," said Paul Rogers, president of the board. "We concluded that Bobby Jones Links’ approach to enhancing the membership experience made it the best fit for Eastpointe CC."
Eastpointe is partnering with Bobby Jones Links to continue forward momentum on its master plan to strengthen overall member experience and embrace a service-oriented culture. Under a full-management contract, Bobby Jones Links will oversee daily operations and provide additional support and services to current onsite associates. In addition, the company will help the club undergo a multi-phase renovation plan, which includes a new lifestyle amenity complex, The Pointe, scheduled to open in 2022.
“We are thrilled to be able to expand our footprint in Florida with the management of Eastpointe Country Club,” said Steve Willy, a founding partner of Bobby Jones Links. “Eastpointe is a premier club with a talented team that has a heap of accolades and experience under their belts, and we look forward to welcoming them into the Bobby Jones Links family."
A member-owned club since 1974, Eastpointe includes two regulation courses. The original East Course designed by George and Tom Fazio measures over 7,000 yards and features wide fairways and challenging green complexes. The West Course, designed by Tom Fazio and opened for play in 1982, spans 6,068 yards with narrow fairways and numerous water hazards.
The principals of Bobby Jones Links own the company - we are not driven by investor expectations or private equity pressure. The benefit to you is happier associates and long-term thinking.
As a result, we don’t leverage our operational leadership across too many clubs. And unlike many companies in our business, we don’t require long-term management agreements with large breakup fees. If you like what we do, you’ll keep us. For more than two decades our clients have renewed our management services more than any other company.
