It’s rare to see one professional recognized at the highest level in multiple national categories — but in 2025, Jason Kuiper and the Grand Slam Golf Academy at Bobby Jones Golf Course have done just that.
Bobby Jones Links is proud to congratulate Kuiper, Director of Instruction at Bobby Jones Golf Course in Atlanta, on earning three PGA Jr. League #GameChanger Awards, placing his program among the most impactful in the country.
Kuiper was honored with:
• 2025 Player Engagement #GameChanger Award
• 2025 Top 25 National PGA Jr. League Program
• 2025 Largest PGA Section Program
The recognition reflects Kuiper’s commitment to building one of the largest and most engaged youth golf programs in his PGA Section, while also ranking among the top 25 programs nationwide — a distinction reserved for only a small group of coaches across the country.
Kuiper leads instruction through the Grand Slam Golf Academy, based at Bobby Jones Golf Course. The academy operates out of the B.J. and Jack Bandy Instructional Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to support player development through advanced technology and personalized instruction.
The Instructional Center is equipped with industry-leading tools, including:
• TrackMan 4 Launch Monitor
• FlightScope X2 Elite Launch Monitor
• K-Motion Golf 3D & Biomechanics Feedback
• Smart2Move Golf Force Plates
• Blast Motion Golf
• SuperSpeed Golf Training System
• FocusBand Headset
• SAM Putt Lab
Together, these resources allow instructors to deliver real-time feedback, helping players improve ball speed, increase carry distance, refine mechanics, and better understand their individual swing patterns.
The #GameChanger Awards ceremony, led by PGA Master Professional and PGA Jr. League Coach Suzy Whaley, PGA, recognized 105 PGA of America and LPGA Professionals whose programs demonstrated exceptional growth, engagement, and commitment to youth development during the 2025 season.
Since its inception in 2019, the #GameChanger Awards have honored the 25 largest PGA Jr. League programs in the country, as well as the largest programs within each of the 41 PGA of America Sections. Added in 2022, the Player Engagement #GameChanger Award recognizes coaches who embrace a wide range of programming for kids of all ages and families, while continuing their education and expanding opportunities to grow the game.
“The #GameChanger Awards are a meaningful way to recognize the PGA Jr. League Coaches who consistently go above and beyond to enrich the lives of families in their communities,” said Steve Tanner, Senior Director of Player Engagement for the PGA of America. “Their passion, leadership and dedication play a vital role in creating positive experiences that extend beyond the course.”
For Bobby Jones Links, Kuiper’s recognition reflects the organization’s continued emphasis on instruction, youth development, and creating welcoming pathways into the game of golf.
Through his leadership at Grand Slam Golf Academy, Kuiper has helped introduce hundreds of young players and families to the sport — building confidence, fostering community, and reinforcing golf’s lifelong impact both on and off the course.
