Atlanta-based club management and lifestyle hospitality company Bobby Jones Links is pleased to welcome Brad Parker as the new regional manager of operations for the South Carolina region. Parker will pull from 25 years of cultural and leadership experience in the golf industry as he settles into his new role on the regional team.
Employed by the company for 12 years, with nine spent as the general manager of Bobby Jones Links-managed club Patriots Point in South Carolina, Parker embodies the spirit of Bobby Jones Links and exemplifies the company’s standards of service. Parker’s role as the regional manager of operations for the South Carolina region will primarily focus on reinforcing Bobby Jones’ culture, cultivating the next generation of culture leaders and providing support to the general managers as a local resource for operations. He steps into this new role in the place of Emzi Wewers, who has been promoted to the general manager of Hope Valley Country Club, another Bobby Jones Links’ facility.
“Bobby Jones Links has a strong tradition of creating career development opportunities for our employees, which is illustrated in the company’s dedication to promoting from within,” said Steve Willy, a founding partner of Bobby Jones Links. “We are extremely proud of Brad’s achievements thus far and can’t wait to see him excel in this new role.”
Aside from his professional experience, Parker’s personal achievements have also illustrated his passion and perseverance in the golf industry. As the host of the Mount Pleasant Open, he has helped raise close to $15,000 for the Bobby Jones Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation in the past two years. He is also a Class A PGA member.
