Things To Do Around Patriots Point Links

With the upcoming PGA Championship taking place later this month at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, there's a lot of excitement over golf in South Carolina. The team at Patriots Point Links in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina wanted to showcase some of the great offerings in the area that locals and out-of-state visitors can enjoy before or after going to the tournament. From exploring the Charleston area to taking in a round at a nearby golf course, check out these can’t miss attractions in the area below.

On Kiawah Island:

If you need something to do that keeps you close to Kiawah Island Golf Resort, where the championship is being held, then pack your things for a beach day! Kiawah Island has ten miles of beaches as well as preserved maritime forests, sand dunes, and marshes with animals abound. Between activities, or after a day of exploring, head to Shem Creek for a good meal and drinks! This waterfront destination is a local favorite where visitors can kick back and take in gorgeous views of the harbor.
